BIO

Simon had been drawing for many years before we met producing stunning single pieces of art work along with Mountain of cogs book 1 & 2, but had achieved them ( in a box under his bed!) with the intention of maybe one day making a book .

Simon and I met in October 2018 introduced by a Humming bird moth (but that’s another story!)

I encouraged him to continue drawing so that I could colour his wonderful works as that was my forte, my way of destressing and rebalancing myself and improving my mental health, I suggested we turn these drawings into books and from then on there was no stopping him .

I am in awe of the amount of dedication, time and love he puts into each and every picture, around 250 to 300 hours, blood sweat and frustrated tears in each book .

In June 2023 the 5 completed books finally became reality as they were printed ,exciting times indeed

we have since then attended various events promoting and selling our books and had a blast doing so and met some wonderful people along the way, the next step for us,  creating this fabulous website

My role through this exciting adventure with Simon was mainly chief tea maker, pencil sharpener ,inspiration, finisher oh and cattle prod holder! but in January of this year I too put cog to paper so to speak and created my very own book ..Cogtastic Colouring ..and I’m super excited that it too will be available later on this year with Simons newest books which he has diverged a little from SteamPunk to his passion of all things Japanese..Dragons,  Tigers, Warriors Geisha and Yokai ( mythological Japanese creatures )

we hope you enjoy colouring these amazing pictures as much as we have enjoyed creating them
